Meet the Macbeth Cast of 2026/27

Something wicked this way comes, and it's arriving with ten actors, three witches, two murderers and one very ambitious Scottish lord. Meet the Macbeth Cast.
Shakespeare's darkest tragedy demands a company that can turn on a sixpence, and ours does exactly that. With most of the cast taking on several roles, you'll see kings become porters, witches become soldiers and murderers become doctors, sometimes within the same scene change. It's fast, it's fierce, and it's theatre stripped back to what matters: the story and the people telling it.
So, without further ado, meet the company.
The Thane and his Lady
Zack Hill takes on the title role of Macbeth, the brave soldier whose ambition becomes his undoing.
Vicky Holding is Lady Macbeth, the woman who refuses to let her husband's nerve fail him. She also doubles as Hecate, queen of the witches, and the young warrior Young Siward.
The Avengers
James Tanton plays Macduff, the loyal thane whose loss turns into the force that brings Macbeth down.
Rob Hardie is Malcolm, the rightful heir to Scotland's throne, and swaps sides entirely to play the Second Murderer.
Friends, Foes and Everything Between
Tom Terrance plays Banquo, Macbeth's closest friend and the ghost who won't stay buried. He also appears as a Murderer and the Doctor who witnesses Lady Macbeth's unravelling.
Kelly Hale is Ross, the nobleman who carries the news no one wants to hear.
Liz Blake takes on the busiest workload in the company, playing the gentle King Duncan, the drunken Porter, the doomed Lady Macduff, a Lord and the English general Siward.
The Weird Sisters
Sam Wall is the First Witch, and also the wounded Sergeant, Macbeth's servant Seyton and the Old Man.
Sophie Hall is the Second Witch, the watchful Gentlewoman and Duncan's younger son Donalbain.
Emily Teitz completes the trio as the Third Witch, as well as Banquo's son Fleance, Macduff's Son and the thane Caithness.
Understudies and Covers
Every company needs its safety net. Phil Williams covers Duncan and Banquo. James Tanton covers Macbeth, Ross, Malcolm and the First Witch. Liz Blake covers Lady Macbeth and the Second and Third Witches.
Fair is foul and foul is fair. We'll see you in the theatre.
